Hike Dodge Nature Center to determine the strategies that plants and animals use to survive the winter cold, wind, and ice. Students will also have the opportunity to try their skills kicksledding on the pond.
This program is designed specifically for home school groups. Home school children and their families are invited out to the nature center on specified Thursdays throughout the school year to explore a variety of natural phenomena. Programs vary depending on season and are created to offer hands-on activities to students ages 5 and older. All students should be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is required. Please meet at the Farm Entrance off Charlton Ave. the day of the program.
