Woolly Bears
Introduce your preschool-aged child to the wondrous natural world. Each topic will be explored through creative storytelling, music, puppetry, and more. Children will also learn about the earth by exploring art or visiting with live animals. Each class will take a short hike outside so please dress for the current weather conditions. This program is specifically designed for children ages 3 to 5. An adult must accompany all children.

Woolly Bears Objectives
- To provide an opportunity for parents to interact one-on-one with their pre-schooler in a natural setting.
- To introduce pre-school aged children to science and nature-based concepts.
- To foster in adults and children an appreciation and sensitivity to nature.
- To offer pre-school aged children opportunities for unique, hands-on learning.
Registration Policies
- Age Requirement: To be registered for this program a child must have turned three years of age and is not eligible after he or she reaches the age of 6.
- Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for all Woolly Bears programs.
- Registration is completed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The office is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Phone registrations are not accepted. Spots are only guaranteed once the complete registration form and payments are received.
Confirmation of registration will be sent to you within two weeks of processing forms. Please call 651.455.4531 if you do not receive a registration confirmation.
Cancellation Policies
- If you call and cancel a class we will try to fill your spot. If we fill the spot, we will mark a credit on your record for you to use the next time you register for a Woolly Bears class.
- If we do not fill your spot, we will not issue a credit. We do not give cash refunds.
- If you do not call and do not attend, or forget to attend, no future credit will be given.
Sibling Policy
- Woolly Bears is a parent/child program for 3 to 5 year olds. You are highly encouraged to leave other siblings at home, especially toddlers. Having younger children present can distract from the parent/child experience for you and for others. If you do bring a younger child and our staff feels that other participants are not receiving the program they have paid for, you will be asked to leave.
